Lorna MacKay runs Torrisdale trekking which is a 35 minute drive away from Altnaharra at Bettyhill. Everyone from beginners to the experienced is welcome, including children over the age of 4. Lorna mainly runs beach rides for 1 to 2 hours or a half or full day. Rides can be on a one-to-one basis or in groups, tailored to suit you. Booking in advance is recommended. The hotel staff can make all necessary arrangements.
